Need Support?

A Care Minister Can Help

Are going through a difficult time? A Care Minister can help. Care Ministers are members of our congregation who listen, care, encourage, and provide emotional and spiritual support to people going through a crisis or a difficult time.

Recognizing that everyone faces periods of crisis, transition, or difficulty at some point in their lives, Care Ministry at New Hope exists for the purpose of being a conduit of God’s comfort, hope, and truth to those going through life’s difficult times. Those serving as Caregivers are trained volunteers who serve men with men and women with women for approximately an hour each week, or as each caring relationship determines. Caregivers visit, listen, pray, encourage, and share the truth of God’s Word in confidential one-one gospel conversations in response to care receiver’s needs and life situations.

Those serving as Care Ministers are supervised and have been carefully selected and equipped through over 50 hours of training to provide confidential, Christ-centered care on a one-on-one basis. Typically this care is provided through weekly visits that are approximately one (1) hour in length and continue for as long as the care is needed and effective. If you or someone else you know may benefit from the services of a Care Minister, you can call us at (419) 636-1362 or simply, fill out the form below.

Areas of Care Ministry

Crisis Care

Our desire as a church is that you not feel alone whenever you go through times of crisis or difficulty. Given this, Crisis Care is offered as a ministry to those experiencing relational conflict in marriages, as well as those dealing with other difficult life circumstances. It is an individual approach to soul care that is guided by the truth of what Scripture teaches.” To schedule an appointment with one of our staff pastors, please either call the church office at (419) 636-1362 or indicate your desire to talk to a staff pastor on the communication card which you can find on a seat in front of you or at the guest services kiosk..

One-Another Care

In John 13:34, Jesus said that we are to love others as He has loved us. Given this, One-Another Care is a practical one-on-one ministry where trained Care Ministry volunteers come alongside those in the midst of life difficulties and help him or her take their next step towards hope through confidential gospel conversations.”

Prayer

We are committed to praying for your needs and concerns. If you would like to share a prayer request with us, please do so by calling the church office or fill out the form below. Members of our Prayer and Care Team are dedicated to praying for your request.
