Need Support?
A Care Minister Can Help
Are going through a difficult time? A Care Minister can help. Care Ministers are members of our congregation who listen, care, encourage, and provide emotional and spiritual support to people going through a crisis or a difficult time.
Recognizing that everyone faces periods of crisis, transition, or difficulty at some point in their lives, Care Ministry at New Hope exists for the purpose of being a conduit of God’s comfort, hope, and truth to those going through life’s difficult times. Those serving as Caregivers are trained volunteers who serve men with men and women with women for approximately an hour each week, or as each caring relationship determines. Caregivers visit, listen, pray, encourage, and share the truth of God’s Word in confidential one-one gospel conversations in response to care receiver’s needs and life situations.
Those serving as Care Ministers are supervised and have been carefully selected and equipped through over 50 hours of training to provide confidential, Christ-centered care on a one-on-one basis. Typically this care is provided through weekly visits that are approximately one (1) hour in length and continue for as long as the care is needed and effective.
