George Kreger, Lead Pastor

On staff since: August 1987

Family members: Wife - Deb.  Children - Jason Kreger, Brianne (and Kelsey) Roth.

Primary responsibilities: Primary teacher at worship services, overseer of the staff.

My favorite things: I love to play golf when the weather allows. I used to play basketball three times a week, but after I turned 50 it was time to quit playing and scaring my wife. We also enjoy traveling during the summer.

Something unique about me: I love my job. I am aware how many people do not like what they do for a living, and I am so blessed by God to be able to do what I absolutely love doing.

Brice Basquez, Worship Arts

On staff since: April 2004

Family members: Wife - Katy.  Children - Easton.

Primary responsibilities: Planning and coordinating worship services, music, and drama.

My favorite things: Family, jazz, Kansas University basketball, golf, face-melting-and-ulcer-forming spicy food, beating Pastor George at "Name that Tune".

Something unique about me: I'm the only minority on staff!

Mark Pitman, Community Life

On staff since: July 2003

Family members: Wife - Renee.  Children - Maty, Anna, Eliot, Leah.

Primary responsibilities: Helping people connect to God and each other, share their life story with others, and discover their mission in life. I work in the area of Adult Ministries—assimilate and connect people to Small Group ministry; Pastoral Care; Counseling; First Impressions ministries (Greeters, Ushers, Parking Lot, Welcome Center) and Outreach.

My favorite things: Family get togethers, date nights with my wife, skiing with the family, racquetball, running, starting barn fires (it was an accident).

Something unique about me: I’ve run two marathons and one triathlon. I love racquetball, skiing, white water rafting, and other extreme crazy sports. I enjoy coaching kid's soccer and serve on a number of volunteer boards. Life is full.

Barb Eckley, Adult Ministries Assistant

On staff since: August 2002 (part-time status)

Family members: Husband - Rod.  Children - Caleb (and Lindsey) Eckley, Lukess (and Carrie) Eckley, and Timothy Eckley.

Primary responsibilities: To help our Adult Ministries staff to get the job done! I provide counseling for women, teach classes, and follow up with needs through phone calls, letters, and visits.

My favorite things: My husband and I love to read mystery novels and TV shows. In the summer you will find me in the garden watering, weeding, bug chasing and bird watching. Rod is an experienced meat smoker so we enjoy having friends over to eat his creations or sit around the back yard enjoying nature.

Something unique about me: Many people see me as outgoing, but really I am an introvert who has learned through God's help to open myself up to his people. Because of many difficult situations in my past, I enjoy sharing and working with people one-on-one helping them see that they can make it through difficult times with God's help.

Jeremy Brown, Teaching Pastor/Student Ministries

On staff since: December 2002

Family members: Wife - Sheila.  Children - Marissa, Makayla, and Myah.

Primary responsibilities: I'm passionate about reaching students and connecting them in relationship to Christ through significant relationships with adults. My responsibilities include those students in grades 6-12.

My favorite things: I enjoy long walks on the beach in the moonlight (especially if I'm walking to Best Buy where I can buy more gadgets!). No, there's no beaches or Best Buy stores in Williams County, Ohio.

Something unique about me: I am bald.

Misty Hageman, Children's Ministries

On staff since: March 1999 (part-time status)

Family members: Husband - John.  Children - Hayden, Elli.

Primary responsibilities: I oversee anything at the church that involves children from infants through Grade 5. It generally involves choosing curriculum, planning activities, administrating special events, leading about 60 volunteers per week, teaching, singing, acting goofy, changing diapers, and rocking tired babies.

My favorite things: Being a wife and mom--I love every minute of it! Well, almost every minute. I love my job because I get to work with kids, have fun, and watch them grow and learn about Jesus Christ. I love creative activities like planning parties, decorating cakes, painting, taking pictures, and scrapbooking.

Something unique about me: I played the flute for four years--but don't ask me to play it now!

Cammie Short, Children's Ministries Assistant

On staff since: November 2002 (part-time status)

Family members: Husband - Dave.  Children - Garrett, Wyatt, Jesse, Seth.

Primary responsibilities: Oversee nursery, preschool and/or elementary programs each week and during special events like Vacation Bible School.

My favorite things: A good book, scrapbooking, quiet country road walks, cuddling on the couch with the boys while I read to them, hearing Dave's truck pull in the driveway, Sunday afternoons, watching Dave and the boys play, kid's bedtime.

Something unique about me: I homeschool our sons. I was a travel agent for 4 years and love to travel God's beautiful world.

Usual work days: Sundays mornings and Wednesday evenings. I don't keep regular office hours, but I can be reached at home Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

Laura Fox, Office Manager

On staff since: June 2003 (part-time status)

Family members: Husband - David.  Children - Lacey, Mason.

Primary responsibilities: Babysitting Brice and Jeremy. Supporting the staff and ministries of the church by accomplishing mountains of administrative duties each week and overseeing our secretarial staff.

My favorite things: Antiquing, reading, and scrapbooking!

Something unique about me: I am a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in the states of Ohio and Tennessee.

Rachelle DeGroff, Secretary

On staff since: October 2004 (part-time status)

Family members: Husband - Andy.  Children - Elizabith, Grace.

Primary responsibilities: Enter attendance, count offering, answer phones, place orders, make sermon tapes/CDs, make copies, and many other important administrative tasks.

My favorite things: Making my family laugh, singing, reading, getting together with friends and family, taking photos and scrapbooking. I LOVE TO EAT!

Something unique about me: I can pick things up with my toes. I also learned to speak whale after watching the movie "Finding Nemo".

Shirley Zwyer, Secretary

On staff since: July 2006 (part-time status)

Family members: Husband - Ron.  

Primary responsibilities: Greet our office visitors, answer phones, assist staff with projects, and keep the office running smoothly by helping out where needed.

My favorite things: Spending time with our granddaughters (and our children, too) when we find time to make the trip to St. Louis, sewing and crocheting just for fun.

Something unique about me: We’ve hosted 8 (yes, eight) foreign exchange students (2 were brothers).
